On smooth surface of low porosity- 45-60 sq ft/L/2coats On textured surface of low porosity- 30-50 sq ft/L/2coats These figures are only an approximation guide. Product Description

Dulux Professional Weathershield E1000 is a high performance premium exterior paint that
protects your building from the damaging effects of all forms of weather, with a five year
durability promise. It is powered by ‘SunReflect’ Technology that keeps surface temperature
upto 5 degrees* cooler due to its high Solar Reflectance Index (SRI). WS E1000 is suitable
for new or previously painted exterior masonry surfaces.

Application Description

Surface Preparation

Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required.
Avoid inhalation of dust during cleaning of the surface. For areas severely affected by algae or fungus, application of Pre-Treatment Coat is recommended.
Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compound.
Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. For best adhesion performance, the moisture content in the wall should not exceed 10%.
Application Tools
By roller, brush or conventional  / airless spray ( nozzle size 0.5mm to 0.7mm)

Dilution
Dilute 1L of paint with 400-500 ml clean water for brush application. For roller, dilute with 300ml water. In case of deep colours, dilute 1L of paint with a maximum of 250 ml clean water. An additional coat may be required for full opacity. 

Note: Excessive dilution from that recommended will result in low coverage and may impact application properties and color.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint fims may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should bo used wherever possible. Work in well ventiated areas.     Observe label precautions. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
